So this year’s seniors (Class of 08) are gearing up for graduation, while the Class of 09 is ready to rule the school.  Nonetheless, every high school student likes a good laugh.  Here’s a list of the top 10 high school comedies according to The Critical Critics.

10. Election – “Dear Lord Jesus, I do not often speak with you and ask for things, but now, I really must insist that you help me win the election tomorrow because I deserve it and Paul Metzler doesn’t, as you well know. I realize that it was your divine hand that disqualified Tammy Metzler and now I’m asking that you go that one last mile and make sure to put me in office where I belong so that I may carry out your will on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.” – Tracy Flick (Reece Whiterspoon’s character) to god.

9. Dazed and Confused – “All I’m saying is that if I ever start referring to these as the best years of my life – remind me to kill myself.” – Pink (Jason London’s character).
8. Napolean Dynamite – “You know, there’s like a boat-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I’m pretty good with a bow staff.” – Napolean (Jon Heder’s character).

7. Mean Girls – “Half the people in this room are mad at me, and the other half only like me because they think I pushed somebody in front a bus, so that’s not good.  ” – Cady (Lindsay Lohan’s character).

6. Clueless – “Christian said he’d call the next day, but in boy time that meant Thursday.  ” – Cher ( Alicia Silverstone’s character).

5. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – “I do have a test today. that wasn’t bullshit. It’s on European socialism. I mean, really, what’s the point? I’m not European. I don’t plan on being European. So who cares if they’re socialists? They could be fascist anarchists. It still doesn’t change the fact that I don’t own a car.” – Ferris (Matthew Broderick’s character).

4. American Pie – “You realize we’re all going to go to college as virgins. They probably have special dorms for people like us.  ” – Jim (Jason Biggs’ character).

3. Superbad – “Just be careful, because it’s a meaningful sweater to me, it’s vintage.” – Evan ( Michael Céra’s character).

2. Porky’s – “When you’re Jewish you either learn to fight, or you take a lotta shit. I don’t like to take shit  ” – Brian Schwartz (Scott Colomby’s character).

1. Fast Times at Ridgemont High – “What Jefferson was saying was, Hey! You know, we left this England place ’cause it was bogus; so if we don’t get some cool rules ourselves – pronto – we’ll just be bogus too! Get it?” Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn’s character).

So there’s the list and some quotes.  Again, I didn’t pick this list.  Feel free to add your favorites in the comments below!

We’re live!

April 9, 2008

It’s time to rock and roll! The site is LIVE :)

As a kick off to Seniorology and the approaching prom season, I am offering the Ultimate Prom Experience!  How would you like to avoid the sea of parents photographing you at your friend’s house?  How would you like to feel like a movie star and be photographed by four fabu photogs?  How would you like to have the best prom images to show and put on your myspace and facebook?

Well you can!  In an effort to build my prom session portfolio, Seniorology and Famous 4 a Day Photography have teamed up to offer the Ultimate Prom Experience.  What will you get?  4 photographers shooting your prom day at the location of your choice (nearly any location you can think of…laundry mat, your high school , someone’s house, downtown, Taco Bell, etc).  In exchange for model releases (from everyone present) you will be given a CD of images from the “session”.  You can print these, post them on facebook, etc.  And everyone present will receive the CD.

If you are interested please email me and tell me when your prom is, how many people are in your prom group, and where you are thinking you’d like the session.  One lucky group/person will receive a free prom photo session!

Hurry though….Prom is just around the corner!  You don’t want to miss this offer!
